Purpose: Providing opportunities for engagement in the belonging movement, opportunities for leadership for diverse individuals throughout the community, and
speaking up for reform.
Activities & Ideas
Stand up and speak out for equity and advocate for reform.
Press for leadership opportunities for all in organizations, businesses, government, appointments, public office.
Support neighborhood pilot project and empowerment of neighborhood leaders.

Indicators of Success
Indicators of success are being developed. Initial indicators are:
- Low unemployment rates for all demographics
- Low racial wealth gap
- Diversity in leadership positions within all sectors
- High labor force participation
- High innovative business start-ups and strong survivability rates with diverse economies
- Rockford viewed as a great place to raise a family
- High voter participation rates
- Small business growth in black and brown communities
- Expanded racial diversity among public leadership
